The Agilis Well Person Health Check at Downley
Pharmacy uses a range of different testing and
screening methods to deliver one of the most
comprehensive health checks available.

The health check covers conditions that often show no
symptoms in their early stages, enabling people to take
proactive action before these conditions develop.

The test covers:
• ECG
To detect arrhythmias, where the heart beats too slowly,
quickly, or irregularly alongside indication of coronary
heart disease.
• Cholesterol/Lipid Profile
To determine the risk of plaque build-up in a person’s
arteries and risk of coronary artery disease.
• Blood Pressure
To identify your risk of heart attacks and strokes.
• HbA1c
To check blood sugar levels, screen for pre-diabetes
or for those with diabetes, monitors the condition.
• Risk/Lifestyle Assessments
The test will also cover:
• Cardiovascular CVD
• Physical Activity General Practice Physical Activity Questionnaire
• Alcohol Risk Summary
• Smoking Risk Summary

How to book

1. Visit agilishealth.co.uk/wellperson
and register for the health check.
2. Fill in the form and complete the relevant
healthcare questionnaire(s).
3. Attend your scheduled appointment
at Downley Pharmacy.
4. Pharmacy health professionals will
administer your tests, recording your
results on your profile or sending
your test sample to an Agilis laboratory
to analyse.
5. You will then receive the test results
through the Agilis Health Platform,
accompanied by a consultation with one
of their dedicated health advisors to talk
you through your results and discuss any
further support you may require.
